I always thought that Bending was showing how plentiful and powerful the element they bend is, while control was the skill to create more with the element like make it more concentrated or sharper. Like more pressure for Air, or more heat for fire, or more hardness for earth or the temperature of water to even ice creating.

Another interesting fact is that Bending Ability in Avatar is twice as high as Magic in KH:E but on the other hand, fighting skills are higher in KH:E. I think the difference is stats come from where importance is placed. There is a boatload more importance for bending ability than magic ability for two reasons. Firstly, magic is optional and secondly, it takes like a huge ass number of stats to upgrade magic whereas bending is for the most part very case-by-case. Also, with the struggle tournament where magic was forbidden, it required that people beef up their physical stats to be competitive.
I think Durability is important in KH:E and Avatar. I gave Danny like 8 Durability just because I don't think he's gonna learn magic, lol. But going back to the previous point, I think most people overlook Durability for both is because with a high bending ability/fighting skills, people don't think they really need Durability. I mean, I'm just assuming here, but it's like, "Why make my person able to take a sword to the chest when I can have my character block it with their higher fighting skills?"
I guess that's true up to a point, but I think of Durability as also endurance, so it really does confound me that it's consistently low. Everyone's character should be carrying an inhaler and be crapping out after a few attacks, lol.
Either way, I really like all these sorts of graphs for the RP, especially since the stats for Avatar and KH:E are very similar. Good job Rosie! (:

I agree, at least somewhat, with Robo. Except, you know, the inhaler joke, but still.
Plus, Avatar started out with like 30 points anyways, so they are bound to be stronger.

WWC has taken a beating this Summer but it just had its 1 year Anniversary! WEE!
In honor, I typed in Xmen and found this. I never saw this version of the cartoon o.O. I've only seen Evolution so...cool! Old school!

I really liked Evolution. It's been years since I've seen the original series, but I never watched it in order, lol, just when it was on. I'd love to watch that series all the way through now that I have the YouTube to aid me.

This is entirely what I grew up on, and is the best version IMO. Think I've seen every episode, probably multiple times for most of them. And if you think this is old school, you should see what they had before this. It had Dazzler! |
