Hey guys, Moon here (obviously), I've been reading a lot of Manga lately and I was wondering what kind of series have you guys read or are reading right now. Also everyonce in a while I'll post a nice little series I think is worth looking into. This Sunday's Best is Yankee-Kun to Megane Chan. Don't be fooled by the super japanese title, Y2M is a really down to earth school set comedy. The art style reminds me a little of Oda's (One Piece's Manga-Ka) and really compliments the zaniness the author presents. I give fair warning though, for those who are into pairings and all that incorporated into their manga be warned: This one is the biggest goddamn cocktease ever written. Here's a Summary (although, as always, you have to read to believe): Shinagawa Daichi is a high school delinquent who just wants to be left alone. However, class rep Adachi Hana will stop at nothing to get him to go on the upcoming Social Studies field trip. What are her true motives behind getting a "yankee" like Shinagawa to go on such a thing?Scanslations for the first 42 chapters (or around the first 7 volumes) can be found here. The series is updated at least once a month if not bi-monthly with around 2 chapters each update but if your a fast reader I'm sure you can find something else to bide your hunger (or I'll have suggested another by then). That's all for now, later!

ooh fun! I'm always looking for new Manga to read :3 Besides the obvious like Bleach and Naruto, I like these... Ouran High School Host Club. It's mostly a girls manga, but I've known some guys who like it as well. This manga follows the story of Haruhi Fujioka, a freshmen girl who (on a scholarship) is admitted into a very fancy-smancy school. Upon being mistaken for a boy (she is unable to afford the school uniform), Haruhi suddenly finds herself being forced to work for the Host Club in order to pay off a debt. A very funny, light hearted and entertaining Manga. Scans can be found here. Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles This manga blew my mind. One of the only truly good mangas that have come from CLAMP, Tsubasa smoothly goes from a happy and humorous manga with likable characters (what got me interested) to a stunning drama with multiple layers of intrigue and treachery (what kept me interested). Though, the main girl is rather annoying but luckily she doesn't talk much <3 Can be read here: HAI

I love Tsubasa myself, the whole manga/show caught my interest for a good while and still has. Katekyo Hitman Reborn is my current favorite manga right now, I have high expectations for it in the future. Tsuna's development keeps me interested for the most part. WOO!!D.Gray-man is also pretty great, it slows down sometimes but at it's (peak-the highest point of a range or mountain vs. peek-to glance somewhere slyly. Think before you post!) it can reach the level of any great manga. Allen is a pretty unique main character by any means. HERE!!!

I only keep up with a few. I've given up on Naruto for now because it sucks and I don't care about Pain's story. I keep up with Bleach. Other than that, I love Katekyo Hitman Reborn (mafia boys in suits with motorcycles and box weapons? HAWT): Anyone who wants a good shounen manga should look into this. If you're a girl you'd like it more because it has hot gaiz. XP Also, Shaman King, which is resuming. Fans of Shaman King should rejoice; the mangaka is doing a reprint of the entire series. Better art and final ending, woohoo! New Prince of Tennis. As if they didn't beat the horse to hell already, but since I love Prince of Tennis, I'd still read its continuation. Kuroshitsuji. If you're a girl and you don't mind some disturbing things then... HOT BOIZ. X3 Lastly, I keep up with Air Gear on occasion. But I'm on and off about it.

Tsuna actually looks cool without being in Hyper Dying Will! Anyone who likes shounen and want more than the Shounen Trio (Naruto, Bleach, One Piece) should totally read Katekyo Hitman Reborn!!

Fullmetal Alcemist is one of the best manga series I’ve ever read, and is not afraid to break nearly every rule in manga history. Even going as far as to take the main characters out of the series for like ten chapters. I know most people on this site hate One Piece, but it actually beats Naruto and Bleach in terms of storytelling. I really goes over the edge to show the power of friendship and family and breaks the traditional rule of simply killing a bad guy to solve all of the problems in the current story arc. No lie the story for One Piece is leaps and bounds better than Naruto or Bleach, but many are often turned off by the art style.

List of Manga I've read: The Big 3 (Naruto, Bleach, One Piece) Franken Fran (I really don't suggest this if you're squeamish as all hell) Mysterious Girlfriend X (I like the semi-pervy stuff for poops and giggles, but at least this one is unique in a weird way) To-Love-Ru (Same as above, but fun in a So Ridiculously Cliche It's Fun) Rosario + Vampire (The show and manga make good MST material) Beelzebub (Humorous bit about pissed off punk who must take care of the baby Ruler of Hell) Soul Eater (I like the style) Kannagi (Actually pretty funny at times) The Gurren Lagann High School AU (Actually Very funny) Aaand... That's about all I can think of. Even then I don't always follow them that closely (I'm more a webcomic guy)

Actually Responses!? Mein Gott.
It's pretty interesting to see what each of you guys read, I wouldn't say it's a reflection of your personality but as far as RP characters you can kind of see certain influences.
Anyways, I think I'll stay away from the mainstream for a bit (with the exception of what manga I'll be covering in my next update), seeing as you guys already know about Bleach, FMA, HMRB and the like.

You guys are gonna laugh at me... Sailor moon isn't that bad, many people watched it(not sure about read it) when they were younger, some taking in it to be the very first anime they watched. Even I watched it when I was young, not that I would watch it anymore. XD Click here for Sailor Moon Manga =O

Sailor Moon was my first favorite anime! =O It was as cool as Dragonball Z! XD It's actually deeper than people credit it for though, involving actual death and whatnot... and of course they casually bust planets... Sailor Moon can kick Goku's ass any day of the week. >_>

4 kids bastardised the hell out of sailor moon for it’s U.S. release. I think they turned two transvestites into females, just to appease children. I really do hate the company, ha ha ha ha.

I personally have been watching/reading a LOT of Death Note lately. Me and some friends are going to see the L spin off live action movie Thursday, so I'm trying to get caught up before then.

I saw the third Death Note live action movie, but not the dubbed version. Still, it's rather lame. I liked seeing L and all, but the acting was just so terrible. Same with all the other Death Note live action movies. It's cool to get insight on it though, I guess, like you'll see who "K" is in the third movie. Death Note as a manga and anime though... Awesome.

Very cliche, but One Piece is my number one. Bleach and Naruto have lost their appeal, but I read them anyways. In complete order One Piece Fairy Tail Bakuman D.Gray-Man (Hiatus T-T) Bleach & Naruto

I was very Sailor Senshi back from about Eighth Grade to mid high school. I read it so much that I started understanding Japanese characters @_@. It's a more fucked up storyline than they take you for in fucking 4 kids. At one point Usagi kills Endymion and then rams his sword through her own gut so they can die together, which actually was their original past.
Shane had me reading One Piece for awhile. I loathed every minute of it, lol.

Yes, it's very big on "POWER OF FRIENDSHIP 4EVAH!" and that nags on the antisocial cynical bastards of the world, but there are quite some neat sequences and it's weird in a fun way.
I will say this of the Sailor Moon series: That Theme Song is so easy to get stuck in you head...

Things do start out a little slow though and don’t get epic until Arlong shows us.

I find the One Piece characters to be enjoyable and its overall plot to be more appealing than Naruto or Bleach (it has an "epic" feeling in spite of the silliness), but as whacky as Oda's art intends to be, it's a personal turn-off. Currently I'm not enjoying much of manga because everything seems to be going slowly except for Katekyo Hitman Reborn, which I'm enjoying.
