I actually flipped a coin to see if he'd be spared or die. I think it would be more funny if it was random. Anyway, Darkest should have killed him off during the night. That would have taken care of that.

Well, I actually didn't know he was spared until Wednesday when I looked at the page, so I thought he was still mafia. And there should be a rule about selling people out, otherwise someone could just say, "Hey, I got Sheriff guys and ___, ___, and ___ are mafia."

Well you can't reveal your role so that's out of the question. I would have ended the game immediately if SDS had sold out and turned you in the same post but interestingly enough, he didn't.
That's why I decided that his fate would be completely random. I flipped a coin, he had a 50/50 chance and it just so happened that on this occasion, he was spared.
As I said before, I see no problem with the sell out move simply because he had enough sense not to turn you in till the next round. Despite the excuses, SDS could have easily been eliminated that night. Forgive me for going maternal on you but in this game, details are everything. ALWAYS read what the facilitator posts.
HOWEVER, if everyone is against the sell out concept then let's simply make it against the rules because you guys are right, this could easily get out of hand.

Of course I'm down.
I don't know I'm with the whole SDS and against it. Because he could become a citizen but whose to say he is telling the truth. I mean what if he said the last mafia member was moon and not Darkest? I feel it could add something to the game. Plus I like it coming down to a coin flip, so it's not a given. In the end it is up to the citizens to believe the mafia and determine if he is trying to help us or trying to help mafia win.
