Depends on the content, I say as long as you don't have Darth Vader dancing DDR and Luke showing up to give everyone a high five then I'm fine with joining. Only if there is more interest though.

For those interested do you want jedi's? If so that would be before the Anakin and Luke timeline or do you want no jedi's in which way it would be after Luke's time (not including books, only movies)

Jedis I think are OK for the most part.
So would this take place sometime like KotOR, Clone Wars or perhaps the Yuuzhan-Vong Wars? If needed, I guess you can put it in a timeline where the Republic and the Empire are at a "Turbulent Peace", with the two factions too busy dealing with other assholes to actively go at each other.
Republic has the Jedi. The Empire would probably have the Imperial Knights (a much more militarized version of Jedi), Characters can also be Bounty Hunters for hire that the Republic/Empire bring in if necessary.
Just a few ideas here...
