Actually, I'm pretty sure Kakashi got saved by a slug. Not sure when...too lazy to look up the exact chapter. I don't think Hinata will stay dead. If she does, Naruto will be all emo for the rest of the series. Regardless of whether or not he has feelings for her, if someone admits their love to you (a friend) and then they all of a sudden die, you'd be depressed.

There was nothing in that chapter that pointed to Hinata ACTUALLY dying. Geez. All Pain really did was like.....I dunno, push her away or something. NaruHina lives on.
