If you had a song that you would associate with your characters, what would it be?
Really, any song. It doesn't have to be one with lyrics. A tune from a soundtrack, anything. Something that somehow you would connect to your character in some ways...
Let me try a few...
Avery:
The End is the Beginning of the End- Smashing Pumpkins As a song, it gives off a heroic image of a savior that will come at the greatest need. For Avery, this is something of an aspiration of hers.
Heartful Cry- Shoji Meguro The song has a bit of a hopeful aspect to it. While it may sound unfitting I try to make Avery the type that believes in Happy Endings.
Dr. Philip "Sir Leviathan" Crenshaw
Furious Angels- Rob Dougan A dramatic yet also a kickass song, I guess.
Ahriman (new song):
Super Villain- Powerman 5000 I like the Science Fiction feel of the song. Plus it has the "I'll show you!" aspect of villainy that Ahriman tries to embody.

This is just a spur of the moment decision, I might find some better songs later. Calvin: Kryptonite by 3 Doors Down www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sc9fp7XStQAAside from the obvious comic book references which fit with NHA, I kind of find it funny to call Calvin the "Superman" of the group, with the potential to be the most powerful of them all, but not acting on it. Not to mention other references to a future plot which will be made clear very soon. Noel: Dreams of an Absolution by Lee Brotherton www.youtube.com/watch?v=zlBPRsMzD_EA Sonic song lol, but one that actually has some fairly profound lyrics, at least for me. It describes the dreams of being a hero, wanting to help, but it being only that, dreams. Something which I think fits Noel very well. And I used the Jun Senoue remix version, since the regular version sucks.

Robbie: Easy pickings, Ben Folds has that kind of nerdy voice that fits a kid like Robbie. Indie Stars have The Glasses, Robbie's got the goggles.
Ambrose: The England Mafioso gets a band from his home field with Radiohead. Myxomatosis is angry, aggressive, and it's theme is one of isolations. Fit's our glare-tastic friend like a glove

Chloe Sorel
Fuel-Hemorrhage This song convey's bravery and fear at the same time, which is pretty much her constant battle. She's very reluctant hero-esque, though no one would be able to tell at first glance.
Zaiya Rosee
The End of Heartache-Killswitch Engage Zaiya has a huge internal struggle and the song plays a lot to the pain of holding on till your heart can heal. Of course, Zaiya isn't in pain because of a lover, she's struggling with finding herself and her true self.
Angelique Martin
Beat of My Heart This is perfect for Angie. It's got a light poppy sound, Hilary Duff's syrupy sugar flat tone and the lyrics are repetitive, naive and annoying. The meaning of the song is also perfect, because it pretty much conveys doing whatever makes you happy, even if it pisses everyone else off.

Mostly because I haven't really developed his character. This fits the little playboy though. www.youtube.com/watch?v=nPbC9H3Nskg

Awww geez. Man, I remember Toka's song was 'We Want Fun' by Andrew WK, that fit him so well. But these guys.......I know I have a song in there some where. EDIT: Okay, I think I got some songs. It was tough, but I narrowed em down. Oto: Hit In the USA -Beat CrusadersThe music video can really help the relation. Oto is just an optimistic, super positive guy who believes that he will one day make his mark in the world. Runner-up: Everyday SuperHero - Smash Mouth.Oto trying to be a Superhero among a school full of mutants. Sloth: Hang On - Smash MouthSloth hangs in there, not letting anything ever affect him, and makes sure he just does what he can, and that's good enough for him. Runner-Up: It's the End of the World as We Know It. -REMSloth goes through shit. A lot of shit. SO MUCH SHIT. And yet he still feels fine. OMG I FORGOT MY OWN THEMESONG! Dan - Oh Canada - Five Iron Frenzy

Adding in something for Hestephael Yeric...
It can either be this...
Kansas City Shuffle- J. Ralph. Matches his tricky nature.
For a perhaps younger Dr. Crenshaw (or Avery maybe)
Devil May Sly- Masafumi Takada

Serafina Vect Knock ‘Em Dead (Johnny Roccer Remix)www.youtube.com/v/ywKkqQlIMmU&fmt=18If anything, this song is all about impressing others, not caring about criticism, and living your own life. Pretty much Serafina’s personality jam packed into a dance remix. And, the various gunshots COULD be used to represent how many times she should have died. Shion Natsume One Day I Will/Leave Behindwww.youtube.com/v/kh_2MXpNc78&fmt=18No words, just piano. I just get a weird feeling of association with this song and Shion. EDIT: Oh yay, SDS put up the videos XD

Will Sheppard. In this Avatar RP Will has really grown from a young man that emotions ran wild depending on what day it was and how much of a hero he wanted to be to a real man. He understands life more and the gifts of everything. He appreciates his family and truly loves them. Ace Spade. www.youtube.com/watch?v=jweI0kDOgtIThis is a pure rock n roll song. Nothing is held back, just straight up rock. I feel it represents Ace pretty well up until his heroin addiction. I always envisioned him as someone that lived life in the fast lane until the lane finally ended in which it did and he died. Sean Rhapton. Sean is a young man with a stressful and heart breaking family past. He's been through hell within his family and I feel this song expresses that he feels people won't understand what he's been through because they never "walked a mile in his shoes." Which is why he doesn't tell a lot of people about his past because he doesn't need someone saying they understand where he's coming from when they don't; he just needs someone to listen.

Aton:
This is a little more active then what most, and even myself, would normally pick for Aton but it's also carrying some darker, drug induced, grit that was abound in the good doctors past and is still very much a part of who he is.
Odillio
Spanish Guitar... that's really it.
