Hello! ^_^ I have to check everything out first in this new scary place, lol. I'm not sure if I'm going to RP or not. But I'll read up on starting and how things work just to see if I will, but since TOORC is no more *tear* then I guess this is the new (minus it being RP based) away from IGN hang out. can someone please tell me how to get avatar to show up, i copy and paste the jpg image url into the avatar url space then put 100 in both width and heighth and went to bottom and clicked to modify but the img doesnt show up, so i decided to resisze the img somewhere to 100 x 100 and then uploaded and copy and pasted the new resized img url into the avatar url space and it still wont show

JAK DIDN'T LIKE THAT! HAPPY BEING HAPPY JUST TRIED TO KEEP EVERYONE HAPPY! BACK IN THE GOOD DAYS OF TOORC . . . TOORC went downhill once Will went on his "video game journalism" kick. I really don't care what he does in terms of that, but trying to turn our little TOORC into that was a terrible idea.
Oh well, at least I got my daily supplement of high school drama anyway.

Oh well, at least I got my daily supplement of high school drama anyway. I know, that's what I meant by jak putting a chip in Will's head to control him and corrupt TOORC.  I agree, I support Will and what he wants to do, but I do not feel that he had to end TOORC just to do his journalism. He could of kept TOORC and still made his Monstervine gaming journalism site. Trying to turn it into a journalism site would of completely ruined the whole purpose and spirit of TOORC. TOORC was a unifying community, a splinter group of IGN, that brought together regulars and good posting n00bs and promoted insider subscriptions for those that deserve it, and was an optional hangout for people of such. I mean Will did not have to focus much of his time on TOORC if he wanted to work on his journalism site. So he could have simply had admins at TOORC and not worry too much and just stop by here and there and check things out and that's it. I don't believe TOORC would of been a distraction unless he made it as such. I was so upset when I came back and everyone told me TOORC was no more, even Will. But then again, maybe it gets to me too much since I did play a huge role in its birth, which sometimes I regret, until I remember all of the good times from TOORC. Then again, I don't think Will ever wanted TOORC to become an active place. So maybe I should have never went there to that empty place and then went back to the KH boards and invited people to come over that it was empty, and from there many went there and from there it builds and became a regular hangout. The reason why, is because I don't think Will ever wanted TOORC to become an active community as I remember him commenting one time at TOORC saying how he only meant it for business related to the Outsiders and Regulars Club. Sorry Will, even though you can't see this. I didn't think anyone would actually care or listen to a person inviting people to an empty forums and come check it out. I was just bored that day. Obviously everyone else was bored too which might explain it. But now there is meep's forums, although hers has a different purpose, but I support meep. ^_^ even if she's not too fond of Goreans. And the world keeps spinning and life goes on, but every good thing has to come to an end eventually. |
