Okay here is how it works. This is the official suggestion thread for our Summer RP. In this thread members will post their idea with a paragraph (1 paragraph!!) summary about the plot and how it work. It end up on the poll, it must be vouched by two members. The RPs with the two highest votes will be screened in the launchpad. A few things: 1) If you are suggesting then in the case that it makes it for testing, you are responsible for running it. 2) NO BLEACH IN THIS THREAD!! It's already on the poll, don't even mention it! This is for all other Summer RP ideas. I was thinking of maybe an Insane Asylum RP? I've done a few in the past and they were always pretty fun...One of the plots I played went as follows:
Burbank's Home for the Mentally Ill has always be held in the highest standards by society. It comes equipped with the best doctors, nurses and medical equipment that money can buy, and is the perfect place for your precious, if a little ill, sons and daughters to reside. Of course, that's just how it appears to the public eye. In reality, Burbank's is little more then a prison, a place to dump the unwanted 'broken' members of the world. The teens here are treated like animals, with parents who rarely visit and staff that just doesn't care. Still, they all seemed to merely except their life. Until, that is, children began to disapeer...
O-or a gang RP? >__> i think I'm the only one who wants that. But it would be like two mobster families pinned up against each other.

The story I was thinking of is called Mad World. It is basically this:
It is a crime RP. It is based in L.A. in August of 08 (which means Obama and McCain are running for president) and it is kind of a realistic story. It is based around a group of detectives that have the unique ability to some how communicate with the dead. The group of detectives work in the same group. For example my character has the ability to talk to the victims for certain amounts of time that he can not control. There is a habit with it though and for some reason after every time he talks to them he has to smoke a cigarette. Your power also has to have a requirement. Like mine is I have to be touching the body. Your power can be anything dealing with the dead as long as it meets those requirements (and the victim can not just come out and say how they died.) For example, maybe your power is you see spirits always walking around or you have flashes of what happened to the victim in their life that hold emotional meaning to them (the limit would be you can not see clear distinctions in the faces or something.) Also your power would be unique in a way, for example when my character talks to the dead he only hears about things that hold emotional value to them. So he would only hear how scared they were or something and from that they have to try and find evidence to see what happened. You do not have to be a detective with a power but basically the story is about how mad the world is becoming with true crime stories from such things as the 18th Street Gang in L.A. I want this to be about how the world is changing and how our characters deal with the changes (with such things as the first black president) and how they deal with being able to be in contact with the dead in some shape or form. So it boils down to this...real world, with some detectives have special powers to communicate/see/something with the dead and how the world is changing all around them. This is more of a character development rp.

Star Fox RP
Yes, personified animals, battleships, it would rock, right? No civil war, no Empire or Rebellion, I'm thinking that Corneria has thrown all of its funding to a private sector that deals specifically with stealth, exploration and conquering through wit and skill.
The Real Adventures of Johnny Quest RP
I'm really interested in this! It would deal specifically with Phenomenology, Anthropology as well as Archeology so this RP would take some wit, knowledge and general intelligence. At the same time we'd get our usual romantic beat 'em ups but we'd be free of magical powers for the most part. Characters would be reliant on their own skills in the art of war. We'd also inject Quest World (VR world) in it but details would be ironed out later.
Streets of Rage RP
RP would be based in the 80s or early 90s. Crime syndicate has taken over LA or New York, whatever and the streets have become lawless. It's up to a few rookie cops to take the Crime lords down and restore peace to the city.

Has anyone heard of the Animorphs series? That might be fun. Basically these alien slug-like creatues have come to earth and taken over, slipping into the brains of victims and thereby controlling their thoughts.
A group of kids somehow get this power (i'm not sure exactly how), where they can change into any animal they touch. However, if they stay in that form for too long (i think it was a half an hour) they get stuck in that form forever. They use this power to try and rebel against the alien, and most of the world doesn't know the invasion is happening.
Not really sure, I just remembered that book series lol xD

More than anything Mad World is more of a CSI. I don't know see the resemblance to Battle Royale and the Mad World game haha.

How about a period RP that deals with like Jack the Ripper or something? Small village being wiped out by a serial killer?

Pirates of Dark Water RP
The World of Mer has been attacked by a mysterious phenomenon called 'Dark Water.' It is murky and thick, swarming through the ocean to drag down ships, islands and even bring Kingdoms to their knees. The only hope of this world if to find seven treasures that are said to have "mystical powers" that can drive the Dark Water back to the depths of hell. There are some pirates-heroes deployed by their Kings to retrieve these treasures and bring peace to the world while others hunt the treasures as a way to control the Dark Water become the supreme rulers of Mer.
Soul Calibur RP
If anyone has played the video game, by namco, it's basically knights, samurais and ronins all setting out on a conquest to find the "Holy sword" while its counterpart, "Soul Edge" takes over bodies and massacres countless victims with a thirst for souls. Classic good vs evil but sucha good fucking time. Here's the intro:

Another Namco video game that I love. Basically a tournament of fighters with their plots woven in between.

Battle Royale RP sounds badass! I could get behind a Tekken/Street Fighter/Mortal Kombat kinda of tournament RP.
<3 Streets of Rage, one of the funnest games ever. Dunno how an RP would fare. Has Cheshire really never heard of Star Fox though?

Oooh cool, I missed Johnny Quest and Starfox, but I definitely second those. I'd have to hear more about the pirate one, but I like the idea, assuming it doesn't become One Piece lol. I also second the serial killer idea.
