I saw it earlier. I still want to see some of the other characters, especially Patel as Zuko, Zhao, Katara, Sokka, and basically how the world looks. From the teaser, I really felt the feeling of the world was captured well with the architecture and visuals.
I didn't have high hopes, but I'm pretty interested now =)

I still can’t believe they picked Aasif Mandvi to play Zhao. The guy’s a comedian and on top of that Indian, so he won’t look anything like the character on the tv series. I guess they couldn’t get Jason Issac to reprise the role.
Madvi is beyond funny, but I just can’t see him playing a prideful man like Zhao.

Dude, Avatar's casting is all messed up if we're going to go by racial depiction. The only casting he did that I do like are Mandvi, Patel as Zuko and this little boy. MUCH better than friggin Jesse McCartney.  |

It's pretty offensive that the villains of the film are Indian, but Mandvi and Patel will probably end up being the best portrayed, ironically.

But Iroh was big too. Does he plan to gain weight? I always liked Iroh because he was such a great general and I loved how he was portrayed. I hope this man can do the same thing for me.

Iroh was my favorite character in the tv series. (yea-affirmation as in "yay!" vs. yeah-confirmation as in "yes, that is correct". Think before you post!) he was pretty tubular. He was such a likable character and was extremely smart and powerful. So I was youtubing and came across these a while back.
