WWC's Rules & Expectations 1) Treat members with kindness and respect-We are a laid back group, low maintenance who prides themselves in taking consideration of all of our members. What makes WWC so special is that we are not rivals or acquaintances. Above all, we are friends! 2) Disagreement and debate is healthy, HOWEVER fighting is not-WWC will not tolerate malicious conflict. There will be no flaming or any other disrespect allowed. If a fight breaks out, members are kindly asked to take it off site to work their problems out privately. We also will not tolerate manipulation or cyberbullying of any kind. Any member or members who participate in inappropriate behavior that results in members feeling threatened, used or uncomfortable will be banned. 3) Posting Style-All posts MUST be 3rd Person LIMITED, past tense-characters should never take an omniscient stance on anything. Furthermore, please put effort into your posts. There is no minimum but members will be reprimanded for repeated 1 sentence posts. 4) Reading-Members who have inappropriate responses to posts due to their illiteracy or laziness will be warned and subsequently banned from the RP until they learn otherwise. 5) Be a courteous poster-take your time in responses and allow an appropriate time for response. Keep in mind that people have other obligations besides posting and cannot be on every hour. You must accept that there will be days when you'll only post once and days when you'll post a plethora. 6) Have fun =) |

The Launchpad Rules & General Protocol 1) Idea proposals mostly take place in La La Land but please place all premises and applications in here, the launchpad2) Once you've established the premise & application, the RP must get adequate support. Keep in mind that bringing in RPers from other boards and so forth is encouraged. We don't want to stress out our group more than it already is. 3) If and only if your RP has adequate backing, please contact an admin, either Sonic or Meep, who will check the thread and allow you use of one of the dharma stations. 4) If the RP tests well with WWC and has sustainability, only then will an admin design a home board for you and make your spot an official WWC RP. 5) Please do not sabotage other RPs for your own. 6) Dharma stations will only have 1-2 projects in it at once (please specify if you are doing a multi thread RP) If all of the Dharma Stations are full, then WWC has reached its testing limit and you must wait until a station becomes free again. 7) If you choose to close a project, please PM one of the admins. The thread will promptly be moved to the graveyard. 8) Please understand that we are giving you guys an opportunity that most forums would not. A) If your project does not work out for any reason, do not take it personal. Understand that sometimes it does not work out. You can either rework it and try again, or wait for another inspiration.
B) Please do not use WWC to test your project, recruit our members and then take it off site. Not only is that inconsiderate but it splits our members' attention, thus causing a lapse in our activity. Any reports of this will result in the Launchpad being shut down immediately.
C) Please do not ask for a banner, theme music or a background for your project. That privilege is alloted for official RPs only.
D) Do not bully the members into posting in your RP. We want to be stress free and let's face it, most members cannot handle multiple RPs at once. The majority of our members stick to 1-2 RPs.
E) Do not spam the board with your ideas, resulting in a plethora of halfway done projects and abandoned characters in the official RPs. Be responsible and know your limits and when you have the attention span of a Goldfish. If we see this, you will be temporarily banned from the Launchpad. No more than 1 project per member!
F) Have some fun. Not all RPs will have sustainability but be happy that you were able to get your project afloat for what little lifetime it had. Ask questions, be willing to listen to advice and work as a team.  |
