The time of Jealous Gods and the Supernatural have long been passed on through fables. There is no mortal soul that can consciously remember that age, for it was 313 when it came to its end.
Under the rule of Emperor Constantine, the Roman Empire sought to expand its wealth over parts of Africa, but the fierce warriors proved to be resilient, putting a drain on the Empire’s treasury and turning the Senate against him.
Just when all hope was lost, it was then when the Christian God came to Constantine in a vision, offering wealth and power in exchange for his undying loyalty.
Seduced by the Christian God, Constantine pledged his soul to the Christian God and converted his Empire.
Bearing the cross as his symbol, Constantine led his army into battle and crushed his enemies, expanding his Kingdom into what was later deemed, the Byzantine Empire. His happiness was short lived, for he was soon visited by the wretched spirit of his father, who sang in a flat hymn of Pluto’s anger with Constantine. He’d betrayed Pluto, whom Constantine’s soul rightfully belonged to, and for that, Pluto himself would wage a war on the Byzantine Empire and crush it in all of its Christian glory.
Frightened by his father’s appearance, Constantine turned to the Christian God for help and in return, the lord sent Constantine, Gabriel, the most revered Arc Angel of Heaven who could would train the Emperor and his men and lead them into battle with the Supernatural.
With the Angel’s guidance, Constantine set about his Empire to find descendants of Hercules and Perseus, mortal outcasts who had acquired innate gifts from their godly line. They were brought back to Constantinople, given homes, families and riches all in return for one thing-their loyalty. Soon the Emperor had built an army, now consisting of warriors who could rival the powers of the supernatural without the use of weaponry.
In 313, the massacre of the supernatural began and the gods scattered, turning took his warriors into battle and waged a massacre on all supernatural, which scattered the gods across the skies, never to be heard from again.
When the last nymph, Cupid, was burned, an Alliance was formed, known as 313, whose sole job was to prevent the Supernatural from ever returning to power. In present time, 313 now secretly resides under Vatican control, its warriors setting out in the night to continue the glory once established by the Byzantine Empire.
