So, I've seen the trailers for Where The Wild Things Are, it looks amazing, but as I talk about it with people I seem to find more and more kids who have never heard of it before which is just wild. It's a classic children's book, one that, I thought, was as widely read as Goodnight Moon. Cover:Trailer for upcoming film:

Yes! I remember in 1st grade art class, that was read to us. I did not pay any attention whatsoever, I am proud to say. :D

I remember it. It's been so long I don't really remember the story of it though. I didn't realize they were making a movie of it either. <.<

Of course. One of the first few things I could fully read by myself and a favorite of mine. Up in Boston my mom had a daycare and she read that a few times a year and I loved listening to it, and reading it in my free time, like no other. If memory serves me right I believe it's about a kid who has a huge imagination and ends up getting in trouble, uses that imagination to go to a jungle or something where "all the wild things are" basically becomes their king but like most childhood stories he misses his family and goes back home.
